Heading into Dallas Sunday, the Islanders have collected points in their last five games (3-0-2) and find themselves around the playoff cutoff line extremely early into the season. Victor Eklund continues to show promise, Matthew Schaefer is finally in the goal column, and the Islanders are giving a consistent, defensive effort with each result. Sean & Arthur cover it all and look ahead, but the biggest highlight of this episode is former head coach Bary Trotz joins the show to discuss his time on the Island and much more!

Good Morning, Islanders Country.
Before puck drop in Dallas, Pete DeBoer was asked whether he believes in measuring-stick games or just wants his team to be the measuring stick. “That’s a great question. I’ve coached teams on both ends of that spectrum. I think the goal is always to be the measuring stick, right?”
On Sunday night, the Stars were the measuring stick.
The Islanders aren’t there yet.
