.....NOT happy with the last two games; HARD to say which method of collapse was MORE infuriating - they're finding new ways to lose - AGAIN and, as I noted in my Hockey Writers' posting Comment, defensemen - ESPECIALLY Noah, are struggling MIGHTILY to hold the opposition's blueline; falling apart at CRITICAL junctures.....
Lack of improvement by Dobson in his own zone, a cause of concern as is the lack of consistent defensive structure. Winning 9 of 11 bought them time to figure it out. We'll see, two tough match ups this week.
.....honestly, we haven't been able to develop even ONE more offense-minded two-way defenseman since.....well, NOT sure WHEN last; MacDonald (a possible cousin of mine from Nova Scotia, as was Joey; never friendly about confirming as much for me) Hamonic MOST glaring examples but, PROBABLY others of which I can't think now - including Pulie, who's lost his edge; Mayfie's scoring a LOT so far, though.....
